Clearwell Group, a family office based in Tampa, FL, is pleased to announce the promotion of Emery Ellinger IV to Vice President.
“Emery is not only intellectually curious and tireless in making a difference for the companies that we have a vested interest in, but he also has a natural ability in building and maintaining relationships,” said Clearwell Group Principal, Tyler Franz. “His contributions to our direct private equity team have been invaluable in helping us build a family of exceptional businesses.”
In his elevated role, Emery will continue to help lead the sourcing and execution of potential partnerships and continue to support the companies that Clearwell invests in. “Looking ahead, I couldn’t be more excited about Clearwell’s future,” said Ellinger. “The opportunity to support talented entrepreneurs in building enduring businesses that can thrive for generations is something I’m proud to be a part of.”
Mr. Ellinger’s expertise has been recognized by numerous companies over the past decade. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in overseeing the financial health and growth of several businesses, while serving in investment banking, corporate development, and private equity roles.
Emery earned his B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Washington & Lee University. He is a proud alum who stays involved as the Florida West Coast Chapter President. He enjoys spending his free time boating and playing golf. When not outside, he is rooting for Georgia football and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
