Tyler Franz is a Principal at Clearwell Group where he leads and executes the firm’s direct private equity efforts. In this role he supports portfolio companies and is responsible for the sourcing, analysis, due diligence and closing of investment opportunities.
His industry experience includes manufacturing, environmental services, transportation and logistics, business services, healthcare, and technology, among others. Mr. Franz currently serves as a board member of Advanced Drying Systems and Valor Environmental and a board observer of Iron Container and Gaskins + LeCraw.
Prior to joining Clearwell Group, Mr. Franz previously worked with Ballast Point Ventures on growth equity transactions and in the Transport & Infrastructure Investment Banking Group at Raymond James.
Mr. Franz holds Bachelors of Business Administration degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Miami. He previously served on the Board of Directors for Tampa Canes and was a founding board member of the Young Professionals Alliance of Feeding Tampa Bay.
