Bob brings a diverse set of gifts, expertise, and experience to NCF, having enjoyed a successful 30+ year career in finance, including as Managing Director and Co-CIO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London, where he led a 54-person team responsible for investing $36 billion in European and global portfolios. Prior to his current role, Bob was President of the NCF office in Tampa Bay for 14 years. Under his leadership, Tampa Bay’s total giving rose to over $350 million. Bob and his wife, Tricia, have five adult children and one grandchild. He takes great joy from inspiring and encouraging business owners and families to greater generosity (and impact investing).

Todd Granger, Granger III & Associations, Inc.

Todd is an owner and executive of a third-generation family business, Granger III & Associates, Inc. The company specializes in collecting tomorrow’s energy through waste collection, recycling, and disposal and in creating renewable energy from landfill gas. For over 15 years, Todd has served as Granger’s Director of Investments. Donald Burton, South Atlantic Venture Fund

Don was the founder and Managing Partner of the four South Atlantic Venture Funds founded in 1983 with $175 million under management. He is also the founder and Managing Partner of The Burton Partnerships, a partnership focused primarily on publicly traded, small capitalization value stocks. Don began his investment career as a Securities Analyst at Fidelity Management & Research Company in Boston and later joined Fidelity’s venture capital subsidiary, Fidelity Venture Associates. He then became a General Partner of Fidelity Ventures Limited, which made venture capital investments in small, rapidly growing, privately owned companies throughout the United States. Don was also a Director of the National Venture Capital Association and has served as a Trustee of The Heritage Group of Mutual Funds. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of a family of Blackrock-sponsored mutual funds. Don graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree and received an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.


Stewart Bertron, Murray-Bertron

Stewart has an extensive background in venture-backed startups and real estate investment.  He was co-founder and served in multiple leadership roles at Tradex Technologies, Inc. from 1995 until 2000 when it was acquired by Ariba (now SAP).   He served as Chairman of MF Lightwave, dba until 2016 when it was acquired by Amphenol Corporation. Since 2003, Stewart has initiated and managed all of our investments in the PODS™ portable on demand storage container system. He has served on the boards of the University of Tampa, Tampa Bay Technology Forum, Young Life in Tampa and Created Women, Inc. a ministry that serves women who have been exploited by the commercial sex trade.  Stewart earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at UNC-Chapel Hill.

John McRae, CNL

John McRae is chief investment officer, real estate investments for CNL Financial Group. In this role, he is responsible for all new real estate acquisition and development activity considered by CNL-sponsored real estate funds. He leads the CNL Real Estate Investment Committee and oversees all aspects of the investment process for CNL Financial Group including joint venture structuring, project financing, underwriting and sourcing investment opportunities.
